The Bosphorus Chronicle

Of the students, by the students, for the students

The Bosphorus Chronicle is the student newspaper of Robert College of Istanbul — written, edited and designed by students, and published quarterly during the academic year. The current issue is February 2026, VOL LXXXII; everyone who works on it is listed on the Team page, and the back issues are in the archive.

The paper’s own reporting places its origins nearly a century and a half ago. In the February 2026 issue it described itself as “the biggest and oldest publication at RC,” founded as a newspaper called the Bosphorus. The school seal on the masthead carries the date MDCCCLXIII — 1863.
